Whole school CPD
All practitioners are teachers of reading!
We believe that all primary practitioners should be teachers of reading, and this is a key part of our pedagogy. This ensures that no opportunity is missed to teach every child to read. Our CPD offer is whole-school, accessible and included within the cost of your membership.
Initial training
Six online modules
Ensure that every practitioner can be a teacher of reading with our online, on-demand initial training. This consists of six main modules plus specific modules for Rapid Catch-up and SEND. Our optional Foundations, Fluency and Spelling programmes also come with bespoke training modules.
Once staff have completed their modules, your downloadable CPD report means Senior Leaders can accurately understand knowledge levels and plan for any further training.
Ongoing CPD
No extra costs
Reading Leaders are invited to join our half-termly Power half hours, jam-packed full of useful implementation info. We also run monthly CPD for all members focusing on different year groups and different elements of the phonics programme.
Our exciting range of one-off events, forums and networking sessions really does offer something for everyone. Choose from our SEND Forum, our small schools and Senior Leaders webinars, our popular Preparing for an Ofsted Deep Dive into Early Reading briefings and much more.
